We are taking up various energy and power systems to establish optimum guidelines for the design and operation of the systems including the control loops. To achieve the purpose of this study, we investigate the steady-state and dynamic characteristics of the system and its components experimentally and theoretically. Finally we establish the new fundamental technologies for the systems and derive the system configurations that have effects on recent energy situations. Currently we are taking up an advanced co-generation system, which is introduced at other section, and a stand-alone type wind power generation system, of which main components are a Darrieus-Savonius hybrid wind turbine, a generator, and a battery. As one study on the system components, we are taking up high-pressure industrial control valves paying attention to the cavitation erosion features. In addition, we are studying of an autonomous mobile system. |
